@Mr.Y Hi, your mod fits perfectly with mine (Historical World War II). May I include it in my modpack? Of course, with proper credit.

Okay, good mod anyways

@Space Auditorium and @FFG-654

Some of the ship prefixes in this mod are not official historical designations but are commonly used in English-language sources for clarity and recognition. My intent is not to claim these were formally used by the respective navies but to make ship names easier to identify within an English-language context. Many English sources and naval references apply such prefixes retroactively to distinguish ships by nation, and I chose to follow that convention for accessibility. If I were to make versions of this mod in other languages, I would adjust or remove prefixes that were not historically used in those contexts.

I think this is good mod, but France, Germany, China, Japan doesn't use Prefix at that time

Good mod, but historically France never used the Prefix MN. We use "FS" for NATO but before that, no Prefix

@DonbassOwner
DonbassOwner 1. nov. kl. 18:34

@W.K.C.

@KotetsuNoTori
I am aware the Imperial Japanese Navy didn't have a official prefix system in place for their ships, however in the English speaking countries they were referenced with an unofficial "IJN" prefix. Since this mod is an English language mod I found it appropriate, but if I were to make a Japanese version I would not include a prefix for these ships.
KotetsuNoTori 1. nov. kl. 6:21
Historically, the Japanese Navy didn't use prefix.
W.K.C. 1. nov. kl. 5:20

Mr.Y  [ophavsmand] 1. nov. kl. 3:28
@饭桶

finally something I have wanted no more ships being named battleship 1 2 etc etc.

@Soviet The Cat Thing
As I said in the compatibility section this mod will not work with any mod that change ship name list file. RT56 changes almost every file in the game including the aforementioned ship name list file so it won't work properly.
Soviet The Cat Thing 30. okt. kl. 13:07
Update: It breaks Fumimaro Konoe's (Japan's leader at the start.) portrait in RT56. I have no idea why.
Soviet The Cat Thing 30. okt. kl. 12:35
Ima see if this works with RT56 (AKA Road to 56.).
