if you select a builder and click road building icon, the builder and only this builder will create road base on where they goes. those roads work as good as the roads were created by the trader

I don't mind all builders making roads; I found it amusing.

But just to be sure: does your version automatically turn on road building for all of your units? or only the one unit at a time?
