Even if I use a mod to make the backpack capacity greater than 50, after picking up items exceeding a weight of 50, it no longer picks up supplies into the backpack.Is there a possible solution to this?

Limits don't appear to be working for me. I directly replaced the original mod with this one on an ongoing save and made it so screwdrivers are looted but at a LimiCount of 1. I have a screwdriver in a fanny pack but the character has just automatically looted 2 screwdrivers and put into my backpack. The repeat this even after returning the screwdrivers to their original container.
