Yeah, I noticed that while looking at the smd. I'd attempt combining the weights myself but in my experience, weight painting is a fucking nightmare when it comes to modeling.

If I remember correctly Fortnite models use helper bones around the clavicles, since source does not use them the author would need to combine them to the clavicles or upper arm bones based on their locations to make the arms seem a bit more natural. Hopefully he does.
