Great map. The south New sniper perch is too strong. It allows attackers to pretty much take over that whole side of the map (Long A)and only leaves defenders a few spots to protect bomb site A. I was also able to exit the map by jumping on the fence off the south sniper perch. If you are trying achieve maximum fidelity to the original dust2, I would remove access to the sniper perches, and perhaps elevate the the CT ramp leading to bomb site A (or lower the walls).

Can't you all people get that an exacto port of the map would requiere to port the De_Dust2 from one engine to another? If you all like to complain so much, then try by yourselves...

seriously think this needs to be revisited or put some more thought into. Hopefully this is still a work in progress.

Just subscribe to the map. It will automatically download to your game folder. Once download you can spawn a local server to test locally.

I have uploaded a side by side comparison of the original dust II map vs my updated version for clarification for some people who misunderstood what this map represents. You can see the scale differences, additions and changes. Based on feedback that I have already received I will be making some changes to this map to make it's play more like the original. Keep the feedback coming, I appreciate it.

Guys, this is not an exact port of Dust II. This is a map with the same basic layout/choke points as Dust II. I am working on an exact port of Dust now and after that will tackle an exact port of Dust II. The paths in this map are pretty close to the original with some differences in scale from place to place. As stated in the description it is a Refreshed and Updated map replicating the layout of Dust II. Not an exact port to AA.

Thanks for the feedback. I need players to play it to provide feedback to make adjustments. Player movement/speed is different in AA from CS so scale is something that will need to be tweaked based on feedback. Also, different weapons, number of players, etc changes things. Are you running this on a server somewhere? The V2 Indiana server has it installed but you have to vote to change to it. I added two sniper perches that aren't in the original as well but am thinking of removing those. Wanted to see how they played first.

Missing two barrels at A site, boxes at strange areas. Well done still. Catwalk too large...... double doors sarent as fun. Cant jump up mid boxes.

Very strange map changes B tunnels too large and u changed plant area. Gap between sandbags makes car unplayable. A is just strange.
