I use Gimp and I know you've said you used Canva with filters but I'm not willing to use Canva. Could you go into more detail on what sort of filters or processes you use?
The only things so far I've learned is how to use focus in Gimp and using the ingame tool (F4) to take higher res screenshot (ScreenshotSizeMultiplier) , but they still don't come out anywhere near as good as your shots.

On planetary vehicles that‘s the way to go yes, but without gravity it doesn‘t matter, because the collection funnel has to be mechanically completely different anyway. In the case of this miner it is helpful for the buckets to be oriented downwards so that asteroid debris doesn‘t shower the quite brittle cockpit glass while mining
