I agree that I could do some more aggressive optimization on scripts and a general improvement in modelling but that won't be anywhere sooner as both require lots of time and effort which is simply not practical considering my daily life as of now. The fact the last update is over a month ago and this mod being an entry for the contest which was uploaded right on the deadline is sufficient enough to prove I'm not being lazy or under motivated.
I would certainly do whatever I want and need to do for this and all my other mods, but I won't promise on anything would be done by some date in the future.

would a mechanic pin point the exact problem of a car immediately after when its owner said "it just don't start"?
There's a known issue related to underwater robot's pathfinding, if you swim into an extremely narrow space there's a possibility for very severe performance impact. Avoid doing so for now and I would fix it after contest has finished.
