I have fought it today after hesitating for a while if my party is ready. Despite using the 5 Trinkets mod it was a very challenging fight but i really enjoyed it. My Party was on the brink of insanity with my vestal and plague doctor having an affliction but we pulled through. Definatly would slay it again

@JunkDog This is a localization error. What language do you play the game in?
JunkDog 26.9. klo 14.25
I don't know why... but instead of normal texts I'm getting blue codes. Do you know how to help me?
ManOfGod413  [tekijä] 23.9. klo 0.18
Small Update: Added Korean translation done by 슬픔. Thanks to ShallowIris for acting as an intermediary.

有中文的版本吗?我击败boss后获得的饰品是一团乱码文字
Valka 1.9. klo 7.51
Managed to beat it first try but I cant call it fun. its the classic "crits you every round and deals 50 stress cause fuck you" type of boss made by someone who clearly doesnt understand the game's enemy design.
mr.unknown 31.8. klo 17.53
@Wolfie Spider, I guess were both crazy, because I was thinking the same thing.
Wolfie Spider 30.8. klo 11.02
Call me a special kind of crazy, but would it somehow be possible to make a playable class mod out of this boss?
Huevo 29.8. klo 15.09
Would have been a cool fight that I won first try! (if it werent for the fact that i did not win a SINGLE FUCKING DEATHBLOW CHECK OR A SINGLE DODGE CHECK DESPITE HAVING 50 FUCKING DODGE) Great mod keep up the work!
Livil  [tekijä] 29.8. klo 9.19
@Lilith, im totally down to re-draw them, maybe i can make some cool monsters that fit the games style (at least a little) but i must admit, making trinkets isnt my strong side, once i get more familiar with the style, i'll do my best to update them

thank you for the nice comment and your suggestion
Lilith 29.8. klo 2.25
Thank you for your hard work and high-quality mod. However, I personally think the art style of Trinkets is a bit out of place. I wonder if there's a chance to optimize it? (Of course, I'm just making a small suggestion. There's absolutely no need to follow it if you don't want to):steamhappy:

Looks so good, nice job.

@8B L0vecraft, Yes, I enabled this mod in the middle of my ongoing estate. It should be fine.

Thank you for asking and not just passing on the mod.
8B L0vecraft 27.8. klo 15.49
is this mod safe to install in the middle of a save?
ManOfGod413  [tekijä] 27.8. klo 1.10
@Practicing Succubus Summoning, fr fr, no cap?

I appreciate your enthusiasm; but, I ask that you not do anything weird with the Writhing Tendril trinket. Not that I can stop you. Nor do I care to. But I believe I'm supposed to say, "No, don't do that."

Have fun man, thanks for the laugh.

@GrimRose0w0[TTV], Same. I love doing low light runs, especially in Black Reliquary. I also try to use and push high stress meta with some of my mods.

Thanks for the comment, and hopefully you get the trinkets you want soon.
GrimRose0w0[TTV] 26.8. klo 13.18
Love loot that encourages low light combat.

@Wolfie Spider, mostly different types of Leviathans (if you can call that a folklore monster), after i made Umbra i just added the additional mouths and tentacles for more ''original'' look
Wolfie Spider 25.8. klo 18.50
Is this monster based on any kind of folklore?

or is it a completely original creation?
Sarril 25.8. klo 2.55
Cool design. Spicy

@Frederick O'Cholera, I'll think about what I can do for the Deep Sight Goggles; however, if I do buff them, then I'll probably make the quirk's stress barks far more active.

As for Whale Bone Carving, it is less likely I'll change the stats of this trinket, since it is setup for future monsters we may make (think Talisman of the Flame).

I can change the tooltip for the drop effect, but I'm hesitant to buff the drop rate of an item that eliminates stress. I may think of something else it could do beside drop Celestial Splinters.

Thanks for the feedback, and good luck with your encounters.
Humble Shepherd 25.8. klo 0.30
Love the design! Super cool boss!
Frederick O'Cholera 24.8. klo 13.25
The same can be said about Whale Bone Carving, there's so few size 3 enemies even in modded DD world that the top two stats would rarely be useful, as for the on-kill effect, I think the chance is too low while the wording is too confusing (Just replace it with a simple "Find Celestial Splinter")
Frederick O'Cholera 24.8. klo 13.18
Deep Sight Goggles is comically underpowered for a low light trinket even when doubled by the quirk.
ManOfGod413  [tekijä] 24.8. klo 6.48
@OG CuCushka, Thank you for the report. This is a localization file issue. I have added placeholder localizations Spanish, Brazilian, French, and Russian.

If you use one of those languages, then the blue text should be gone.
If not, please tell me which language you use. I will then add the right file for it.

To be clear, it will still be in English, but it will not be blue text.
Tainted Pyrrha Nikos 24.8. klo 6.20
COOL:steamthumbsup:
OG CuCushka 24.8. klo 4.44
I don't know if it's this mod or not, but instead of words, there are blue letters.
ManOfGod413  [tekijä] 24.8. klo 2.26
@Bonkboy[Derp] , Thanks for the interest, here's some info:
Deep Sight Goggles give the Deep Sight Addict quirk, which doubles the buffs of the Goggles in exchange for having the character act a little... possessive of them.
Terror of the Sea gives Umbra Legacy, which grants a weaker version of the trinket's buffs, while also acting as a potential spawn trigger for the Umbra.

And, while I'm thinking about it, Celestial Splinters heal and clear stress. They are usually granted upon defeating the Umbra or Basilisk; but, you can also get them through the Whale Bone Carving. The splinters attained from Umbra have different dialog, with Plague Doctor, Houndmaster, Musketeer, and Arbalest having their own unique reactions.
Bonkboy[Derp] 24.8. klo 1.58
cool what do the quirks do ?
