Unfortunately, I can't seem to replicate the problem :SaffronCry:. Can you perhaps try deleting the folder Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\data\weloadout . And try loading again

Think I figured out what was causing my error...

Seems to conflict with https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3093824842&searchtext=better+movement

Enabling it with this causes the menu to fail to open.

The SWEP pack was weird and didn't catch the algorithm. I just added it manually so it would work. Enjoy!

Sounds like a mod for DarkRP and I can't veer off towards that. Feel free to use my codes if you're willing to make a version for that :happyfaye:

Can we assign weapons to specific jobs or categories only? For example in my MRP server I want the Sniper Job to be able to progress only on sniper rifles, Support Job on LMG's only etc.

heres a list of my weapon addons ig: CW 2.0 (just the base pack) FA:S 2 (also just the base pack) the zapinator UNO reverse hunters glee VJ base and jmod

yeah i tried disabling some addons like cloudbox and jmod but no luck, somehow gets stuck at 25% now so this addon straight up just hates me

i dont have to many weapon mods, some are very crude basic sweps made by my brother, and the only other sweps i have include FA:S 2 CW 2.0 and jmod (plus jmod hl2 and jmod legacy) but also my game doesnt crash or nothing, the addon simply never loads, and the lack of bloated oversized files for tactical weapons just makes it getting stuck make no sense.

It's good but it should have settings in utilities to choose what weapon categories to include in the menu or your starting worth and points, maybe choose the cost of modded weapons too because it's not too good at detecting them.

Try disabling all of your weapon mods and try again. If it works please tell me so i could troubleshoot

I might also need the list of weapon mods you have so i could try it myself to test.

If its possible also give me your crash file:

i've said this earlier but this still wont work for me, gets stuck at 50% (which is better than the 25% from before) and just never goes higher than that.

Are you able to spawn in the world before crashing, or it crashes during the loading screen of gmod?

This add-on is really good, but I think adding a Rebirth System would be a nice addition. Maybe when you start your armor, health, or worth can only reach a certain cap, and you can Rebirth to increase your cap, providing more progression.

Another way you can do it is by having a currency you only get after re birthing. you can spend it on permanent upgrades to make re birthing again more interesting, or you can spend it on skills to increase damage input on your weapons. Think of it like a re-mort system is you've ever played Sunrust Zombie Survival.

Most probably conflicts with it as it both deals with loadout

My mod focuses on progression on obtaining all weapons so it feels like there is a purpose in killing and it would feel rewarding, especially buying permanent upgrades. Essentially game-ifying your gmod

The mod you referred to is for sandbox purposes if you just want certain weapons on startup and play gmod as normal.

Its up to you if you prefer playing gmod normally, just use that. If you're up to roleplaying and want a feel of progression, use mine :happyfaye:

i think it would be cool if you Added the ablity for us to buff the amouth of points we get from kills from 1 to 10 at max same for the 100 npc kills.

When I reset my progress, the menu shows up but nothing shows up in the loadout screen or points shop.

Also, I'd like a way to configure it when it does work.

I don't know if is possible but i have request if you want: How about make a gamemode for this game and call it "mission editor"? Basically is similar to arma 2 mission editor, and you can spawn npcs, create mission objectives, add items, add ragdolls, edit player's loudouts, add waypoints for npcs where to go and etc. After you done everything, you save a mission and then loads mission, you spawn with what guns you wanted and sandbox features (for example able to fly, spawn things etc) will be removed. When you die or you fail objective, you have to restart mission and play everything again. Pardon my bad english lmao. This would be real useful for roleplaying or just enjoy hl2 style created missiln.

I've always been a fan of the gamemode when I was young, its just so sad that the original ZS can't be brought back anymore. So I've always wanted to bring some of it's elements to sandbox and try making a PvE version haha :happyfaye:
