Defending bots don't seem to use the bunkers that much though. In general with the game I've noticed bots tend to use "emplacements" mostly near capture points so a lot of the bunkers and hardpoints on the map go completely unused.
When I first bought RF back in 2019, I remember that one of the very first mods I ever downloaded was your Battlefield: Vietnam “Operation Irving” map. So I gotta say that it is very heartwarming to see you comment and be a big fan of my work, as your maps have provided me countless hours of entertainment over the years! (I'm trying not to glaze too lol)
I’m excited to see what stuff you come up with, now that you’ve created your first vehicle mod and Steel continues to make updates to scripting.
I don't have anything else to say to you, but I will just say best of luck to you my friend! Be creative and I hope you find some success. :)
Basically, I do not want any sort of remake of this map. You are certainly free to take inspiration from my work, but my last piece of advice for you is that originality is something very important that helps a project stand out. Sure, remake maps are good, but what people are more interested in is new ideas being put out there. You have to try and experiment more and create your own style. I guarantee it's a good way to become successful as a creator!
I’m also sad to say that I will not be making a mac/performance-friendly version of my maps. This is because I would have to delete a lot of props and prefabs to make the performance better and it would end up “ruining” the original vision I was going for. I’m doing my best to improve this map's optimization, but because of how big it is, it will naturally have poor performance. Not to mention that Ravenfield’s In-game level editor is notorious for being poorly optimized.
And trust me, I used to play Ravenfield on a Macbook Air before buying a gaming laptop. So, I understand the struggle of running this game on a Mac. :(
