To answer your question: Allah Akbar is essentially the Muslim equivilant of the Christian expression "Oh my God!" If I had a dollar for every time someone asks me if I know what it means... I'm sure people are going to continue asking me this question, even though I'm pretty sure I've answered it before a dozen times.

Everyone has to pay income tax, and everyone who owns property has to pay property tax in addition. It's isn't taxing them twice, it's making them play by the same rules as every other property owner. @Prim: The Proper Braixen: People try so hard to equate atheism to religion. They assume atheisist believe 100%, without a doubt, that there is no god and that they tell their kids that. The idea is to never mention god around kids, and to instead teach them what experts have observed. Skeptism is not "The church of there is no god." It's going on what we can actually confrim and not assuming anything else. The lession I'd teach my children, when they're old enough to think rationally, is to never believe something that seems far-fetched and doesn't have solid evidence to back it up. If they wind up finding it rational to beileve in a deity, I might not agree with it, but I'm not going to turn my family into a theocracy. As for the taxation of religious structures, Some of us just expect them to pay property tax like every other establishment in the private sector.

From what I understand about the "tax-free social structure": when people give their '10 percent' as tythe, their paycheck has already been taxed. Taxing the church twice would be redundant and sounds oppressive in my opinion.
