Jim Beam - Your idea would be best implemented in a standalone mod, so it can be included/excluded easily. It's a tedious project though - you need to tweak the config of every character that you intend to carry the MX. That amounts to several dozen characters if you do both the desert and woodland factions of MJTF. It's sort of the inverse of what I do in these crossover mods - I reskin vehicles and crew them with existing characters.
