JakeBarrage 28. sep. 2015 kl. 15:53

PumpkinKing72 28. juni 2015 kl. 12:03
Does this replace the original 1x1x1 small cargo container?

Photosynthesis is simply using non matter based energy to change matter that is already there.
Plants don't create matter, you moron.
Cr0ss0vr 1. feb. 2015 kl. 8:13
how many resources does this take to create?

Ironman3

You know how plants feed themselves?
They convert energy to sugar (Which is matter, by the way)

Gravity Generators are not possible with a little bit of energy, however getting gravity via Gravatons is possible

Hi, how about energy to matter mod ?
storm37000 26. dec. 2014 kl. 11:01

X-mas break begins soon and I will begin work on a custom model. Anyone have suggestions for a good 3D modeling program?
Al 13. dec. 2014 kl. 4:18
Gravity Generaters are possible just need a bit of energy.
Meabye if you made something, like a nano-factory thingy where you could create
stuff with energy and materals putting less strain on your resourses?
RangerOfTheOrder  [ophavsmand] 12. dec. 2014 kl. 15:45
I understand what you are saying. But the science of the plainner gravity generators is also too complex if not impossible. . Gravity is created by Gravity is a spherical field around the centre of the mass. Not to mention that you can have completely unbalanced thrusters on a ship and it will still fly straight away instead of spiraling out of control. I hear what you say, but use a little imagination.
Al 12. dec. 2014 kl. 13:27
the science behind this is to complex, humans can convert matter to energy but not the other way the closest thing to it that is being developed. Is nano-manufaturing.
Just saying this tech not in 2077
Mojo 10. dec. 2014 kl. 15:40
This would be cool if you could make a small ship version also. For all us mining freaks.. XD
JakeBarrage 9. dec. 2014 kl. 10:07
ok so what we can do is pick a day when your not busy me and u will sit down and do the show case
RangerOfTheOrder  [ophavsmand] 9. dec. 2014 kl. 9:51
@ricochet90 I plan to implement these ideas if/when the modding api of the game becomes more advanced. This is just a concept atm dueto the limited modding abilities. I hope to scale the power usage to the items stored, like the Applied Energestics mod for minecraft. I would lying if I said it didn't inspire this mod.
@Shade The items can't be passed without conveyers because the other cargo blocks dont have the technology required to convert the energy back into matter. As the desc says, they are a glorified box.
@JakeBarrage A mod showcase would be greatly appreciated.
☠†Shade†☠ 9. dec. 2014 kl. 8:04
this looks great, I will be trying it out, but if it turns the items in to engery, why can't it sent the items to another like it else where on the ship/station, with out converys? could this be done later?
JakeBarrage 9. dec. 2014 kl. 4:51
hey if you want i can do a mod showcase for you on my youtube ? jakebarrage@youtube
ricochet90 8. dec. 2014 kl. 18:52
You think there might be a way to scale how much energy it consumes with how much it stores? It would be a shame to have it consume an enormous amount of energy while it's being unused.
RangerOfTheOrder  [ophavsmand] 8. dec. 2014 kl. 9:42
That is a great idea. Why didn't I think of that? I will definitely implement them into the recipe.
waterlubber 8. dec. 2014 kl. 7:40
Perhaps it should use Gravity Generators components because SCIENCE?
RangerOfTheOrder  [ophavsmand] 7. dec. 2014 kl. 19:34
I also plan to increase the power usage by a hell of a lot, not sure if I can given the current modding limitations. If I ever get around to making a model, will probably still use the default building stage models just because I'm a lazy SoB. :P
RangerOfTheOrder  [ophavsmand] 7. dec. 2014 kl. 19:31
Yes, but not for a week or two. I'm busy with school and midterms are creeping up, so expect it around Christmas after I go on break.
JakeBarrage 7. dec. 2014 kl. 0:43
nice can we exspect a coustom skin/texture right now you got the default texture for the cargo box
RangerOfTheOrder  [ophavsmand] 6. dec. 2014 kl. 17:23
I will work on a small ship varient once I get some of the issues with this sorted out. According to the SE wiki, the default size of a large ship/station Large Cargo Container is 125,000L, so yes, it is more, much much more.
JakeBarrage 6. dec. 2014 kl. 10:22
i cant remember off the top of my head if the 8 millon is more then a large cargo
JakeBarrage 6. dec. 2014 kl. 10:21
can make a small ship one maybe it be nice to have for hardcore miners
dragazo 5. dec. 2014 kl. 17:57
maybe one day we can stop at matter to energy and just have an insane power source lol
RangerOfTheOrder  [ophavsmand] 3. dec. 2014 kl. 14:18
Ok, thank you for the help.
Valkyrie Ice 3. dec. 2014 kl. 11:31

RangerOfTheOrder  [ophavsmand] 2. dec. 2014 kl. 16:00

RangerOfTheOrder  [ophavsmand] 2. dec. 2014 kl. 15:56
