@matthewwwww there's a roblox seven hour war rp game that i used to play and they have these guys as morphs you can turn into, you can shoow through the lil hand so they wouldn't carry guns according to a roblox hl2 rp game

You kinda can make new NPCs by using map replacements. They need to be an existing NPC but after that you can alter them with map entities or change their properties. You can make stuff like hostile vortigaunts or friendly gunships this way for example.

man i hope someone finds a way of adding actual new npcs, i've always wanted to see these ingame but the closest i've ever seen it's a model replacement

@wampa12g we don't know if they'd use guns or not, we only have one piece of concept art for them so there's technically nothing saying they can't use handheld weapons

they show up for regular combine i tried it with no mods and it still doesnt work idk whats the issue :/

its not very accurate. if you used the synth soldier model it would have been fine but, you use the super synth soldier. the mechanics for the super soldier don't use guns. they punch you around and shoot energy balls. the normal synth would be more accurate.

I wish valve did not cut them so what if there legs are in floor it would been cool to fight them along side the regualr overwatch frces.

In the original 2004 release of HL2, the models folder contained jpg model previews.
The Combine Elite had this synth soldier displayed in the image instead of the actual model.
