just tested again, i dont think unit number isnt the problem. it happens whenever im close to a AI squad or two even in zeus. this isnt usually the problem before

ok i see, ill try that. my current number of infantries are at 100 now since the start

The only time I've seen that kind of behavior is if I have the number of AI set higher than my PC can handle. My PC can do 'Approximate number of infantry on each side' at 100, but not at 150. (just tested again, and with the update to arma I can now run at 150 and get frame rate around 22, it used to be around 1). You could try reducing that parameter. Default is 50 infantry per side.

hi, the problem still occurs. everytime i zoom in or looks at a squad or two, it freezes every 1-2 seconds and it does that constantly. any solution?

ah i see, thanks. tbh, the mods are use are still the same since this happened, i think its the hyper threading stuff.

Arma had an update in the last month that changed how it handled multi-threading (multiple cores and such). It improved performance, but I've found a few issues since. Some of my the mods I use broke, and I found if my server had the 'enable hyper threading' option then we were seeing vehicles and units glitching forward and backward so badly the game wasn't playable.

So make sure you aren't using the Arma launch option 'Enable hyper threading' (in the launcher parameters) or -enableHT (from the command line). Also try without mods. It could be a mod that worked fine now causes issues.

hi, ive been playing again recently after a month of exam finals. it seems to be there was a problem lately. whenever i opened the map (pressing M) or using zeus (pressing Y), the game lags really hard to the point every second it freezes. can you help fix it? cause this problem wasn't present before, thanks.
