Unsure as to why, but the Nanite Frigates seem to be big, like as big as ships 4x their size class big...

I did check the mod, and it works as intended. Maybe redownload the mod?
For me the ships are working, the shipset is shown, and moduls working fine.

did you follow the Loadorder? Are you having other mods?
Maybe check out with a test Playset with just NSC, the base tmpest and this one, and see if it works than for you?
