Hey no problem, I'm glad you enjoy the mod. "Craft Animal Milk" is a recipe I added that lets you craft a bag of powdered milk that you can feed to any young animal. Previously you could only save baby cows and sheep because their own or other mothers of their species gave milk they could be fed with. Before "animal milk" was added to the game any orphaned baby piglets, rabbits, rats/mice, raccoons or deer would starve to death.
Now you can keep them fed and alive without a mother if you feed them with this milk until they've grown old enough to feed themselves. I wanted a reliable way to make this animal milk powder so the lives of my baby animals wouldn't be dependent on my luck finding this powder through looting.
I hope that answers your question, if you still have questions please write again.
Hey, yeah I see what you mean, that's very annoying. Thank you for informing me. I've changed the drying of hay to only requite a surface for now while I'm looking into how to try and make it work properly again. They entirely changed the drying racks to only take one input item... so I'm not sure it can ever be quite the same but I will see what I can do.
Thanks for the heads up, I fixed the English recipe file and uploaded with the russian translation so now it should work. Thank you for the translation
P.S. Check symbols at Recipes EN. Some missing :) Thx for great mod
Hello yes I updated the mod to include translation files now, if there's anything wrong with them pls tell me. Will you eventually be sending me translation files to upload along with the mod or did you intend to make it an add-on?

Good question, I did some ingame testing and calculations to determine that yes it is more nutrient efficient. The feed bag recipe's nutrient value just about doubles the nutrient value of the ingredients, going from ~614 to 1167 food value.
Comparison shows that for every 4 "encumbrance" you can fit:
40 grass = 280 food value
40 hay = 480 food value
1 full feed bag = 1166.7 food value
This means you increase the potentially stored food value by:
+71% when you dry grass into hay
+90% when you craft the animal feed bags
So in summary, both drying grass into hay and crafting feed bags increases the overall ability for you to store more food for your animals.
Hey thanks for the feedback. To a certain degree yes, I didn't want it to be too easy to make in the early game since you usually find a lot of feed then too.
I understand that it looks like a lot, especially with the potatoes. In the code it is 30 units of potato, which is 2 potatoes in game. I will change this code to be clearer. I'll also add other vegetable substitutes to the recipe to give you more variety in options.
I agree that 30 wheat seeds (or any grain) is too hard considering you wait very long to get a maximum of 20 seeds for 5 planted wheat plants (assuming they survive to be harvested). I'll lower it to 15 for now, since I know wheat seeds are often found at farms too.
Also if it is the grass/hay you're having trouble gathering: I would recommend lowering the GrassRegrow time (last setting in the Livestock tab) of your save. You can change it with the sandbox settings mod if you're playing sandbox mode.
Hope this helps ^^
