@eckzocker, it replaces the scope reticle that comes with the default SpecterDR for ELCAN C79 replacer. If you've got that mod installed, I suggest you get this one as well!

Really? That's so strange, since the reticle looks so small... I mostly just assumed that it must fill up the scope at 4x.

Maybe in person your brain is better able to make out what the markings are.

@Turtle Mafia you need to extract the .vpk files of materials. The path of reticle is :
materials\models\weapons\optics
all you need to do is modify the relevant reticle.vpk, put it in the same path, pack it with vpk.exe.

you can try to extract the vpk file of my mod using vpk.exe, it's in the folder "bin", which is inside your Insurgency's root folder. just drag the .vpk file to the vpk.exe, it will be extracted automatically.

Then you should be able to figure out the structure of these files :P

The hole reticle is designed for 4X,u only use the red dot in 1X.

I think the reticle needs to be bigger. I understand that in reality it is this size, but, I think, when using the 4x magnification mode, it would fill up the view more completely, which I think is the intent. The way the reticle is now, I think you have it so the reticle looks as it would in 1x, but the scope is magnifying at 4x.

Tiger what do you do to change the reticle? I hav searched countless times and can't find the textures. Could you help?
