I just found a small workaround to get rid of that helicopter since you can't hit it with your rocket-launcher.
1. Ingame, open the console by typing "^" and type cht_bEnableCheats = 3
2. Press "esc" and after that press "F3" - this will open up a small menu
3. Simply skip the entire level using that small menu.
4. After the next level is loaded succesfully open up the console once again and type cht_bEnableCheats = 0
5. Save and leave the game.
6. In main-menu, simply load the next level and you're done

this actually broke my game when i disabled it, but it was preatty fun while it lasted (btw the first hellicopeter boss is broker as explosives wont collide with him)
