I play TF2 a lot with Luna (the commenter a bit below this) and I can attest that she is a skilled Engi player, so it's not even about stuff like lack of skill or anything. The taunt is completely fine and not once has it felt unfair to me nor pay to win. I mean, while she's activating the taunt I can just walk up to her as Heavy and POW her to death no issues what so ever. Same with Sniper's stabby stab stab Huntsman taunt. The taunt is a completely fine addition and nothing about it seems as exaggerated as the complaints make out it to be.

after owning and using the taunt since day 1 I cay say 29 out of 30 times I miss with it and die, giving free kills to others, and the 1 out of 30 times I don't miss is when I spam a teleporter and a spy happens to walk into my teleporter and I actually hit, (most of the time the spy gets to backstab me before the taunt finishes and has missed), it's so bad as a taunt kill but so fun to try to use it even if you miss, and the only times I do get a taunt kill are times any other free taunt kill would have gotten me 10 kills by now, or any weapon multiple dozens more, so I don't think people complaining actually have encountered it or used it in game, and are just afraid of them "potentially maybe" adding some other taunt kill that "theoretically could be overpowered"

So glad Valve removed the nerf. My god, you guys act like this like some super OP killing method when it's literally just a tauntkill with the same range as the Heavy's finger gun taunt but with a slightly longer setup.
