this'll make a great world to delete all the landmass and make it my own crappy world (incredibly impressive though)

There's no mods, here's the instructions from the devs to gain access to all the biomes that may seemingly be missing.

To access the BETA do the following:

Open Steam
Right-click on WorldBox in your library
Select Properties
Go to the BETAS tab
Enter the password: forbiddenKnowledge
Choose "betalith" from the "Beta participation" drop-down list
Wait for the game to update the files (if nothing happens, restart the Steam client)
Launch the game
