Because if you remove ability of knowledge sharing the AI will then over-focus on getting institutions by immensely deving up which doesn't create a fun world or accomplishes the goal of the mod. Sorry if that additional change affects you negatively.

NDefines.NDiplomacy.KNOWLEDGE_SHARING_COST_PERCENT_MONTHLY = 999

The Ai countries get the massive -1000 would get into deficit. De Facto removing its option.

Hmm well I'll do my own testing and if need be I'll also just massively increase the cost so the AI or player would never use it.

18 (rounding)
sharing gets cancelled as the max 0 total years has been reached.

now the tooltip shows predicted +5. etc. Without knowledge sharing

Yep... spaghetti bad code... might probably remove brittania again in the next campaign..

the share value seems hard coded ? Zou had put 0 but with modifiers, i get 1,85 per month...

and also putting a positive vaue (like 0.1) doesnt seem to work...

and the diplomatic action files says knowledge sharing is moddable... but you actually can´t...

For some Paradox code it deesnt actually work...
While the sharing gets cancelled after 1 month for everyone, it still allows for a 1 to 1+ spread. Hence, after a while, it still works...

One thing I would love to see is Renaissance not hard-coded to spawn in Italy. If Byz does not fall, it should spawn in Greece, not Italy, since it was Greek scholars fleeing the Turks which brought the classics back to Italy.

The new conditions to spawn Renaissance would be either 1. BYZ = does not exist or 2. BYZ = has won a war against Ottomans.
