Found out that the version of this in the base game breaks when combined with mods that add new rooms, but this one works just fine! So this mod still has a really good use ^^

they did not lift the code, they did it in their own way but it's pretty clear based on the timing that they only added their version because of this mod

Don't quote me on that, but I've heard that supposedly they lifted the code from this mod so hard that their version of the spawn indicators inherited some of the bugs that this one had, but even then... look at them, it's pretty obvious.

is there any proof that the code is the same? Because simply adding a mechanic is not enough. There are thousands of mods so pretty much all obvious additions will be covered and spawn indicator isn't really an original concept (not trashing the creators, just saying it's been a concept in other games too) but people keep saying it's stolen without comparing the code

Is there any proof this was stolen? Even I've had the thought "this would be a good QOL improvement to Isaac" since Rebirth released because of all the times I've gotten "telefragged" in every room that can spawn enemies.
