super good map

@CRAZY_008 i think i did hit the technical limitations. Back in the day when i was building the map, i intented to make the playable zone bigger, but the map simply refused to compile, forcing me to exclude a few blocks.

One of the cases when a really beautiful map did not gain popularity. The main disadvantage is its size. Making the skybox part of the map would greatly improve the situation.

This map is 10 years old, I think you could try to recreate it, it's a great map but the biggest drawback is that there are few or no indoor spaces, I think you could add some indoor spaces to this map, like gm_goldencity

why are there errors and missing textures

This is nice, but adding what would without a doubt complete this is fences or walls at the edges of the map in the streets and/or specific areas, running around then hitting an invisible wall is just .

Of course. Because i dont want people to simply access the raw .vmf which is multiple hundred hours work. Some individuals will be able to re-shape it and present it as theirs. In your case you have enough decency to want to show me as original author.

@sub357 I am pretty tired, so sorry if I am confused. I feel as if I upload the map after I recompiled it in hammer, it would be without your permission (I think you said no). I will err on the side of caution and hold off on the deocompiling.

If you only intend to get bsp from gma, then you can do it freely. Or download the bsp from gamebanana website. And if you're willing to extract vmf from bsp then this better not be done.

@sub357 Well. I got a request to port this over to SFM as a workshop item. If you don't want me to decompile it and recompile it to the SFM workshop, I will be completely ok with that.

What exactly do you mean by that? The HDR is supported, if i remember this correctly.
Though some textures seem to render a wrong way.

i love these type of night cities maps

anyhow, awsome map!

and this is one of those kinds of maps where i like to gather up some LW and TDM cars and street rice on

its kinda like golden city in a way, but one thing that would make this map better is adding pigeon and car sounds to add maybe a bit more detail and RP to it

One of the most beautiful maps, if not THE most beautiful map I have seen, just look at those reflections! And the theme, its just so perfect.
