It doesn't affect ai capital placement behaviour, they should stick to their de jure capital when they can.
I haven't updated the mod yet though

Yeah I will have to fix it, the latest update kinda reworked how vassal contracts work, but I have been focusing on my other mods at the moment

That's fair, I was only worried about if it would be too good for the already overpowered player. I will test the mod out for sure and see! Thanks for considering the suggestion.

Hmm, I will think about it, making a game rule shouldn't be hard but it would require some labour, and additional balancing...
Although the positive modifiers are only applied really close to the capital, so I recommend checking the mod out anyway, to see how the balance is (I think that positive modifier is more beneficial for AI, than for player anyway)

I've been doing one looong playthrough rn, so I don't have sample group big enough, but from my experiences right now, it affects the blobing player more than ai, giving some needed challenge
