And if so, it could make since if you did the same thing for it's counterpart, the Percs pill.

i feel like the addicted pill change only makes sense if the same change also applies to percs

I meaaan... death card is already overshadowed by black rune, the sun, and all the ace cards. so its even less relevant than something like ansuz. its a consumable so its not exactly a competition since its so inherently expendable, especially when the death card is meant to be on the lower end of the power spectrum. Great balance changes ty for the mod!

Ansuz is already a better World card, so I have no issues making Hagalaz a better Death card. It also just makes more sense in my head that if using this ancient rune breaks all the rocks in a room, that power would probably also hurt the things within it.

make hagalaz open adjacent secret rooms instead, makes more sense and doesn't overshadow death card

the only one i disagree with has to be hagalaz, it makes it feel like it supersedes the death card now that it has a whopping 60 damage. perhaps you could give it a different effect? maybe using it spawns lower damage rocks from the ceiling, or sends out a few of those rock shock waves? just an idea

I appreciate the ideas, but the mod is complete. To my mind, all of the items in the base game, after this mod, have enough utility and interesting mechanics to leave as is. Your paralysis idea isn't bad though at all!

Some ideas:
Retro Vision-This isn't really a buff or a nerf however I just think it would be really cool if Retro Vision also made the audio slightly more retro style lol.
One makes you larger-affects hitbox.
Wizard-also have the My Reflection effect.
Paralysis-temporary speed down afterwards that fades with room clear.
Explosive Diarrhea-also leave slippery creep on the floor.
Bad Trip-Teleports you to a nearby room.
RC Remote-Familiars deal BFF damage, stacks with BFF.
Whip Worm-make whip sound effect
Butter-chance to drop pickups(coins, keys, bombs) as items as well if you have enough of them.
Fragmented Card-just stacks with similar effects
