Perhaps the font wasn't downloaded, so the standard one for gmod was set.
Check the sv_allowdownload setting - it should be set to "1" on the server.

Love this new layout, only issue is that the font looks a bit pixelated and squished

Just tried that now and nothing has changed.
I'm on the 64bit beta branch. That may be the issue.

I love everything about this new UI.
Did catch a bug with using the properties on the editors. When I drag the slider to change the stats of an editor it spams script errors.
