@МГЕ Фембой People would not stop harassing me there. For that add-on specifically, people kept making personal insults and kept trying to force me to make the TF2 buff soldier into a GMod boss. I also got sick of people sending me BDSM videos of the buff soldier and saying perverted things on my profile.

Turning off the comments and canceling the add-on was the second best thing from deleting it altogether.

@Unnatural_Plant You could follow the add-on pathway I left to extract and modify the add-on's code. An alternative would be to get yourself an armor-regeneration add-on to help negate the consumption rate.

@Gordon? GORDAN! I've got a compromise working here. The first half second of firing would direct the player's vision up a bit (mainly to adjust from crouching), but the view climb would stop there to give full control. That way, you won't have to fight the recoil while still keeping things at the right angle.

I wouldn't say replace the worldmodel, more like animate it. I have seen Animated worldmodels in some GMod Addons.

My minimum bar would be to get rid of the flamethrower's view climb when you're firing the flamethrowers on the ground as well as crouched, mainly so that the player can spray it across a group of enemies and light them all up.

I do respect your decision, though.

I will look forward to a VFire version though. Incendiary death cometh to the maximum.

@Gordon? GORDAN! You are asking for a whole lot here. Let's break this down:

The base game (ZZZ) seems to give the flamethrowers recoil, hence why the jetpack attack is even possible. ZZZ also makes the player stationary when using dual flamethrower attacks (which is probably why you're finding difficulty in using them). If I am to make this weapon easier to master, I'd might as well make my own dual flamethrowers (or you could customize this add-on by extracting it via the file pathway listed).

I might need to spend some more time with SNPCs, but I'll probably feel murderous enough to make and pack in a VFire version of this.

I can make the melee attack animation, but I don't know about changing the world model. I've yet to see a workshop weapon that changes world models.

Also, I wonder if you could add some third person animation to the bash attack in which it briefly switches to the fist holdtype and plays the punch animation corresponding to what first person attack animation used while the nozzles twist back.

Could you elimate recoil entirely when using the flamethrowers? I feel it's a bit troublesome. Plus a Flamethrower should not generate recoil at all.

I didn't realize that the character was "brainrot" either. In my mind this is just a cool weapon. Looked awesome paired with an HEV Mark 3.

@Gordon? GORDAN! About that, I kind of already did. Within Dell's Proto-Arms, there's a weapon that looks and functions just like Ember Celica called the Flare Punchers. It's got the same flare-jumping, the same explosive punches and everything (everything except the smart bombs of season 7+).

This made me wonder...

Why not make a functionally complex Ember Celica? Yang was easily one of my favorite character concepts from RWBY despite her being said to be an "afterthought"

I think it would be really good to have an Ember Celica with complex mechanics reminiscent of a beat 'em up.

Most of RWBY's weapons would be prime GMod weapon concepts in my opinion. Too bad we didn't really get anything satisfactory from either Rooster Teeth or this Workshop.

(Not to mention the countless sins Rooster Teeth did against their franchises and their own employees... eeugh.)

From what it looks like, I left the Bull Tank with just the basic possession movement controls. I can get to finishing it once I find a good time to bring it back (since others like Dr. Zuckerberg or the Pure Vessel take priority).

The blast jumping feature was not intentional, but I left it in because it's fun to mess around with. It also has some practicality for jumping back into a battle if you get knocked back too far.

That is the Bull Tank, from the TF2 video "Wrench in the Gears." I've had the nextbot of it laying around ever since I released the Deadnaut.
