can somebody spoil what does the V Tablet does? my current run is way too long and honestly im scared to try it
Francisconov 18. aug. kl. 20:13
so i never got back to this but the reason i was dying was because of a dynamic moodle mod and the mod author decided it would be immersive for infection to kill after and hour and make it so it ignores sandbox settings
Operator Clukay 15. aug. kl. 18:57
used the kx9 spike on myself when i was bitten and got cured but also got a fever and died for some reason

I keep getting a error for the mod i think its broken
daman 28. juni kl. 19:21
For anyone attempting to run Bandits week One legacy, I believe this cdc II mod spawns positive viral test kits on npcs which ends up killing them/spawning them as a corpse. i have NOT read the mod description :p
TheMan 12. juni kl. 14:27
Please update! lots of errors
OxTailSafu 11. juni kl. 9:10
I would also recommend you look into the recipe for the syringe. When you open it, you end up getting duplicates.

If anything, I would also maybe encourage you to look into the side effects for the ones that delay zombification. If the idea is that they're supposed to give you a chance to try and find a cure, they probably shouldn't have such severe side effects that makes it difficult to find them.

Overall, I do enjoy this mod, I also think the settings could really use an explanation in game so that we can better understand how changing them affects things.
Kolljak 9. juni kl. 12:19
Does anyone know if this mod plays nice with Antibodies mod?
Chime 8. juni kl. 15:50
Currently it looks like it only seems to have issues with the foraging system. Disabling foraging in the mod's settings seems to mostly fix the issue.

Hey all, sorry for all the delays. I haven't been modding too much and when I do I have been focusing on the multiplayer experience (CDCRR Community). Did the recent B42 update break compatibility? I can take some time to look over everything this next week, but I need to setup a rig for the B42 install so it won't interfere with my B41 things. - In the meantime if you have a MP server, CDCRR Community is this mod but tuned for the multiplayer experience (B41).
Chime 8. juni kl. 9:35
Please consider updating this mod when you find the time or when we get closer to B42 Stable. No other mod adds this level of depth and risk when it comes to having the potential to survive infection.
Bashar al-Assad 6. juni kl. 10:38
i keep getting errors when starting up a playthru
VasiliyTerkin 27. maj kl. 12:37
I can,t find the bundles of items in hardcore, where should I look for them?
Francisconov 26. maj kl. 22:16
i stayed well fed and hydrated at base so it's a weird behaviour
Francisconov 26. maj kl. 22:09
i got bit, took pills + cure without side effecfs yet i died to fever around 6 hours after bite, i will disable this mods and report how infection behaves
XYZ_Infinity 23. maj kl. 11:48
Francis, I dealt with that too. My best advice is to take a pill that delays zombification right after a cure so that you don't insta die
Francisconov 20. maj kl. 19:52
sandbox option is set to kill after 1-3 days, yet when i got bit i died to queasy moodle after around 6 in game hours, i believe this mod caused this, anyone have experienced something similar?
R o c k y J e t 20. maj kl. 15:19
EDIT: I found a workaround, i disabled the foraging option in sandbox settings for CDCRR2
R o c k y J e t 20. maj kl. 14:56
Could you update please? new PZ update hit today and there is alot of errors saying foraging line 45 LUA or something like that . thank you Mr. Herman
Dester 15. maj kl. 1:14
This mod spams its items all over the place... way too frequently
crannypilled nooksmaxxer 9. maj kl. 8:50
I opened a bundle of items in aluminum and upon opening it, it immediately killed me, ending my 30 hour run. What the fuck?

DO NOT OPEN BUNDLED ITEMS IN HARCORE MODE. THEY COULD INSTA KILL YOU.
Ictiv 7. maj kl. 2:00
Hey, just wanted to say, glad you're still around! No rush, but I hope you get a chance to update this as Build 42 stabilizes, because it's hands down my favourite gameplay mod.
Phil J Herman  [ophavsmand] 6. maj kl. 16:31
Hello all, sorry for the delays here, I will try to sit down and answer all of the questions and comments in the next few days. Thank you!

What does the v pill do?
Teekay 8. apr. kl. 14:35
what is the dynamic loot?
XYZ_Infinity 3. apr. kl. 12:02
Build 42 and the injections aren't working? Taking the test early on and getting a "+". Take the syringe and wait it out. Sometimes I'll be asleep with health slowly rising just to have it plummet and wake up dead (not zombie). Sometimes I'll do the same thing but this time with zombification. Am I supposed to be taking the pills AS WELL as the injection?
RUSSIAN_LADA 2.0 2. mar. kl. 8:40
errors occur when collecting on the road
Aang741 1. mar. kl. 13:51
i tried with the sialogogue or equivalent but i cant use the kit always says your mouth is too dry to use this kit, idk how to use
Tachyon 16. feb. kl. 4:09
Fair enough.
Ictiv 13. feb. kl. 5:49
The scar I believe is intentional. If you ever got a vaccine (I hope you did) or took a blood sample, you probably remember them disinfecting the spot and then putting a small bandage on the spot and telling you to make sure it isn't disturbed for ~5 minutes so the wound can heal. Pretty sure that's what's going on with this mod as well. You're injecting the antidote in your body, so it creates a scratch would for you for you to bandage.

As for side effects, I did notice all the medicines have some level of side effect as well, but I think that's probably intentional too. Like, the side effects of bad medicine are things like getting deathly ill and potentially dying from the injection. Compared to that, feeling a little woozy is basically nothing, and is also in line with what most people experience for a short time after getting a vaccination. So when you see that the high quality medicines have 'no side effect', I'd read that more as 'it won't kill you'.
Tachyon 13. feb. kl. 4:24
All treatments have side effects with cough and fever, and my hands get scarred when I'm prepared for inject. The same goes for pills. I'm using them on B41 MP. Does anyone else have the same problem as me?
drshahramanvariazar 8. feb. kl. 11:58
this mod has made semi infection curer for people before they got zombified
Rocky Ravenheart 31. jan. kl. 14:46
I'd like to point out that the bottom workshop ID in the description does not match the ID of this page.
Ictiv 25. jan. kl. 13:06
@Casey snake: The description itself is not very explicit, but it does mention that you need a sialgogue to use tests. You can find "Droolox Sialgogues" (which look like blue boxes with a water droplet) in some test kits and medical loot locations like ambulances. These are basically first aid items that make you drool (while also making you pretty hungry, so be ready for that).

You can also use some other means, such as I believe drinking a bit of alcohol before using the test to start drooling.

It's a bit confusing to figure out at first, but I think it puts this mod pretty well in line with the tone and complexity of the base game.
Horse gaming 25. jan. kl. 11:59
what does my character mean his lips are too dry to test? how do I get a test result
Zachariath 13. jan. kl. 15:34
Looking through it, the Hardcore Mode Loot Rate doesn't appear to be used anywhere. Hardcore mode at most appears to toggle between a high chance of 0.3 to a low chance of 0.05, further reduced by the Loot Reduction values (the bottom three Loot Tables settings, which appear to be misnamed). Grabbing the HC mode loot rate and setting the Low Chance to some fraction of it might accomplish intended behavior (for World Distribution, anyway)?
Zachariath 13. jan. kl. 15:23
Also, Hardcore Mode doesn't actually appear to be affecting the *chances* in OnOpen functions in OpenCDCPacks, only the loot amount. The roll is being made before the Hardcore mode check, and the result is not modified before it's used to determine the outcome. The chance that's rolled isn't even used anyway.
Zachariath 13. jan. kl. 15:12
Looking at the code, it appears the Dynamic Loot sandbox individual settings for Antidotes, Medication, Viral Tests, and Packets aren't used. Instead, only the core Dynamic Loot chance setting is used which determines the rate at which one of the DeathDistribution functions is called. I think maybe those individual values are meant to be used within DeathDistribution somewhere, instead of the static chances set currently?
Zachariath 13. jan. kl. 14:49
Can you please explain what each of the Sandbox settings do? It says to go to the mod page for more info, but the page doesn't explain anything.
Damage_Zedd 13. jan. kl. 3:30
if i want to half the amount of loot, how would i do that? the sandbox settings are confusing
doodad 12. jan. kl. 17:27
Ah, I see - you need to wear gloves in order to open the weathered packages safely. Is that a new feature?
doodad 12. jan. kl. 17:23
After some testing, every bundle damages my right hand - in ALL cases. Weird. Probably a mod conflict, altough it didn't happen a week ago. I'll dig around some more.
doodad 12. jan. kl. 17:16
Did something change with the hardcore loot bundles? I keep getting scratches/bleeding on my right hand from opening these. It happens way too commonly. Is there a way to turn this feature off?
Son 10. jan. kl. 14:55
these are way WAY WAY too common, i found 2 within the first 16 zombies i killed. why are they so common
hasufel_lionheart 10. jan. kl. 6:39
Wow. I was sick. I made the test, i was positive. I verified with debug mode and other mods. I was really having the virus. I decided to rust the mod and tried 1 little Salivix pills which is suppose to delay zombification for 48h and -> POOF! Instant death.

I was full health, full food, full water, full happiness, no stress, nothing. The perfect health but a little queasy. And poof.

Don't take medication, guys! The government lied! It will kill you! XD
rteixeirapl 8. jan. kl. 17:18
Hi! Amaaaazing mod! Please, I have a save in b41 with CDC 1.0 running flawless. Should I do the change? I'll loose items?
SimplyPenguin 7. jan. kl. 5:11
Ah that's sick
