That's going to have been another mod. This mod doesn't add any content, and it's the first I've heard of "black holes".

Make sure everyone is using the Steam Workshop version. Nobody can use the Thunderstore version, since it's outdated. Everyone is required to have the mod installed.

Yes. But only through the Steam version. Please make sure **everyone** is using the Steam version, and nobody is using the Thunderstore version.

Does Virality still work? My 5th player when trying to join the lobby keeps being sent to a random lobby or falling through the sky indefinitely.

The Thunderstore version doesn't work / hasn't been updated in a while. I'm prioritising long term support for the Steam version.

you go into content warning settings (in the game) then the mods tab then look for virality settings

Yeah, that's a minor visual desync issue related to late joining. I never figured out exactly why it happens, and I don't really have the time lately with other projects.

I have this little problem with this mod, when someone joins the current game, they see ghost objects on the delivery point and see duplicate players, everything is fixed when you use the diving bell

Sorry about that! There's sadly no way to handle this with vanilla clients, since the vanilla game has some checks that explicitly iterate up to 4 players (and hence would break things for e.g. a vanilla player with id 5, or for vanilla players if a lobby has more than 4 players).

This is such a disappointment. I was looking forward to enlarge my lobby's because I prefer more people to F.A.F.O with in my lobby's. Such a great mod. Thank you for the response

This is not vanilla-compatible, since all clients need the mod in order for larger lobbies to work, and in order to sync up late-game joining logic.

Are you sure they're on the latest version of the game (i.e. no cracked version), they have the mod enabled, and they're not accidentally (also?) using the Thunderstore version? This is typically a bug that occurs when either the host or player doesn't have the mod installed. It could also be a mod conflict, but you'd need to make a proper bug report on GitHub for me to review that.
