Best Soundtrack Mod currently for me besides the AFX mod that exists too but this feels just awesome throughout all the floors. I grew up with oldschool jungle/dnb and I think you made a nice selection here. Its not easy to capture the vibe of each floor with a specific dnb track that fits the atmosphere but you did it.

Idk if you will add more variants to this mod but I am in love with it so far :D

Maybe it has something to do with fact that i changed most tracks names in music.xml
Mini boss theme is named exactly the same "ambush.ogg" and some boss fights as well (satan, isaac, mom's heart).
It should work tho, so i don't know :(

A lot of people don't realise that there is actually heavy layer for almost every track in the game. It's not something new and there is plenty of music mods that uses it, but i did layers in a way that will strongly stand out dynamicly for contrast beetween calm floor exploring, so i guess i'm glad you noticed that. I'm going to be honest, I hadn't tried a mod as good as this one before. Honestly, the music changing depending on the room is a concept I hadn't seen in a mod for this game. I'm asking you, on behalf of the whole community, to finish it, bro!

Ay! no problem, i understand its not finished and i am genuinely excited to see what you do next. The songs are all very good, i really do just feel they need more unique styles, especially if you do later floors, but yeah otherwise, your doing great!

All layers are pretty much the same and in all themes i kinda stick to certain sounds and instruments, but i think they are different enough by themselfs without layers. I could make layers a lot more interesting, that's for sure.
Remember that this mod is not done, some things are rushed and sketchy and if i will find time and inspiration to make second part, there would be a lot of changes in the first part.

my only complaint is that a lot of the songs feel kinda the same, but just slightly different, but that could be on purpose and its just my taste, but i think it would be cool if you experimented with different sounds more, like the arcade!

Mad props to you, this whole soundtrack is amazing. My o n l y grievance is there being no new title screen theme. That's just me being picky though, all of this is amazing quality, and I LOVE how it makes the stages fee a bit more eery in the jungle themes
