Hiding the details while lost just makes this mod feel all the more immersive. Great work and thank you for such a QoL mod!

My dude... you could've called it Whereasang...

v1.1.0 is out. Region is hidden while lost (on by default) and can be locked behind Mind's Compass (off by default).

@Berwve
Can ignore those c# warnings

i agree with CobaltNinja that having the info hidden while lost would be nice

Is it possible to remove the parasang region marker while lost? I feel like it'd contribute to the whole "where am I" idea.

Found this in the Player.log, is this something to be concerned about or can I ignore it?

Really cool mod! I was imagining something similar (albeit gated behind Mind's Compass)

Is there any way to revert the quest giver locations marker to state before using this mod - perhaps removing some file?
smt 11. dec. 2024 kl. 9:28
really wish this was just vanilla, really nice addition imo

this is such a nice mod, thank you!

Turns out I was wrong about the quest giver location. The game stores that name separately and permanently, so it doesn't get reverted when the mod is uninstalled. The latest version of the mod (v1.0.2) avoids this by always using an unmodified parasang name for quests, but those started with older mod versions will unfortunately have a permanent region marker on them.

Ah, ok, I was mostly just curious because of those quests that require you to go in a certain direction from a single-subparasang location.
modo_lv  [ophavsmand] 6. dec. 2024 kl. 2:01
Indicators should show up wherever a specific zone is referenced.

For example, quest giver location in the "Quests" journal is a zone, so it has the indicator. But the "Locations" section usually referes to whole parasangs, which don't have it.
Null_Error 6. dec. 2024 kl. 0:36
Do these subparasang indicators show up in the journal too?

Awesome thank you! This is so helpful.
