We opted for Ho Chi Minh because his political figure and influence on the war, in our opinion, was more influential, he had meetings with the main leaders such as Stalin or Mao Zedong and was there until the end of the war. Regarding Ton Duc Thang, we believe that his figure was very important for the unification of the country, becoming the first president of a unified Vietnam, but with a less important role than his predecessor.

Hồ Chí Minh died literally a year into the Vietnam War, but he DID give the go ahead for the Tet Offensive. No clue how to rectify THAT since I dunno if the campaign mission is long enough that Tôn Đức Thắng would be a better choice or not.
