I used a recruitment mod to recruit the Hive Queen.
For some reason, she can't run.
This mod was helpful in increasing her dignity and allowing her to move at high speed.

really liked the mod, but unfortunately it conflicts with something i have, i think
all my characters now have horses as their portraits... it's kinda funny but i have a big squad and this makes it harder to find a specific person

@naxuy 102 You go to the horse market and go in the shop and talk to the seller and make a purchase. After you have paid, you can then go to a horse and 'talk' to the horse you want. If there are no horses in the stable, that means there are no special horses this time. You have to import your game to make the horse squads respawn.

@skylars8311 the only thing that can cause issues are the horse hitching posts in every town. It might cause duplication of buildings.

is this compatible with UWE?

does using the lasso to interact with a horse, and using the option to steal it actually do anything? ive gotten the gray bar over its head and it just stands there or follows me .. can't access inventory

@DevilDog that sounds like he probably has died. Try importing.

I havent the smallest clue how to buy horses I have gone to both areas that sell horses and can not find where to buy it the groomer dude seems to be there just to take care of my horse not to sell me anything and there is no one in the horse shop

All the other locations need some extra sleuthing... @ shade0180 19 Aug: You cannot ally with them, they exist solely to teach you. Unless you mean how to start the process? You need to carry the warrant and go talk to him.

Ok how to ally with the training group?

How does one go about actually aquiring the steeds? The stable in okrans blessing did not result in anything after the "devout okranite" line. In serenity i can find the groomer and 2 blacksmiths, but noone that actually sells the horses. Im guessing that i have missed something stupidly obvious

hi any one know how to fix the issue where when you speak to the horse it crashes the game? i really like the look of this mod but very time i buy a horse and go to speak to it my game crashes

Dialogue Expansion packs very unfortunately affect this mod lol. Spawn into the world and my horse is complaining about the damn dust storms.

Hello! There is a problem with Genesis and this mod. You have additional buildings in the towns placed that are interfering with the placement of other buildings. This issue is notable in Heft.

El mod funciona bien, pero un error hace que se duplique serenity, y no se puede acceder a las construcciones, supongo que hay que hacer que se inserten los edificios con un poco mas de espacio, si puedes revisar esa situacion, creo que seria genial, de todas maneras gracias por el mod esta bueno. (no estoy seguro si es un conflicto con los toros o si en si serenity esta ahi y se montan encima los edificios de los caballos)

I am not a modder, I am just some guy who likes having horses in Kenshi. I am sure that someone wiser than me could suggest a more elegant solution.

After following DJPelotas' advice, I was able to fix the healing animation in stealth issue. In the Forgotten modding tool, open this mod: [Striding Steeds - A Rideable Horse Race]. If you downloaded the mod from Steam, you need to move it to the Mod folder within the Kenshi game directory. Once the Horse mod is open, you'll see a window with various lines and text. Click on the Animation tab. All green entries are added by the Horse mod; click on one of them, the first should be a green text called "Eating." When you click on it, a new window opens. Find the "General" tab, and under it, locate the line called "Stealthmode." It reads "Stealthmode-EITHER." Click on "EITHER" and select "NO" from the list. Save your changes and repeat this process for all green entries under the Animations tab, there are three: "sleeponfloor for hay bed," "sleeponfloor," and "standing."

When i am sneaky mode wiht my character he is full hp and he is made animation healing ¿Can i fix this?

I just installed this MOD and imported the save file. After entering the game, I found that there were warrior NPCs riding horses out of the United Cities, but!!! They were riding backwards!!! Their legs were on top and their heads were on the horse's back!!!
How can this be fixed?

to be fair, it would make more sense for people to carry other people across both shoulders rather than only one
and if arms flap uncontrollably when being carried, it should be because your arms are broken

How do I fix the arms flapping uncontrollably when riding?

The problem is a game can have only one carry me pose. For a horse you would have to lay on it sideways and that is really difficult to fit on a humanoid character. It would hang legs on the left, hands on the right and the stomach over the person who is carrying head.

Could you make an alternative mod that makes it so riding looks exactly like being carried? I like to think that in a universe in which it's faster to just pick up your cow and run to your destination, people understand the concept of laying on something faster, but can't quite grasp riding

@exiledStobe yes you can buy or steal horses. There is even one riderless horse group which just joins you if you bump into them. 同月duo I am not sure I understand, who is sitting where? And are they overlapping? Are you using the Many Animations to multiple species patch?

@Cattrina I don't have the rideable bulls mod but I did have the species animations patch! Thanks! Removing that fixed the riding posture. Great mod

@BosRekt you are also using the rideable bulls mod. That is the bulls riding pose and a game can have only one riding pose.

Not sure if this is a bug because the mod works as intended but the characters are riding in a sort of "feminine" pose like their legs are closed and on the side of the horse rather than the standard riding pose. Thought at first it was for female characters but then I noticed the male npcs are doing the same thing. Not using any custom races. Any reason why its like this?

It is not in the buying moment, it is in the choosing the horse moment after buying.

2nd for horse dealers travel around. I want more good horses.

Crash can be many reasons, but I never crash because of buying horses. I only can buy 2 though, definitely want to buy more but do not know how yet.

Anyway, try to import and use SCARaw optimization mods. Will make this game run so much better for fact.
