Ahhhh okay. Well disregarding that, I do think that the checkered texture is a very underused style (I'll likely make a war paint soon utilizing it), and the map-like primary texture could work very well generalistically if tweaked a bit. I would also suggest that, when you have mostly colorless textures, make sure that any sort of team color is dulled. The velvet-like red clashes harshly with the white and black, and that can be fixed by simply making it less vibrant. Not darker, but duller.

I tried, but it looks kind of tacky, like its made of plastic, health and hell kind of plastic, please note that I have tested different colors, but the final version is the one that I see fitting to the theme of TF2

The team colors need to be brighter and change the contrast by adding some gray. For that you might have to work with a different base. Concept is fine, but the final result needs to refined.
