I like the textures from this mod but it unfortunately removes facial hair from many of the rebels and makes them look too young and clean.

The improved faces look a little weird, and going by the comparison shots, I think it's because of minor differences in, like, skin tone, hair color, or a lot of the old faces had painted-in shadowing around the chin and neck that didn't get maintained, etc. There's more to this kind of thing than just resolution.
