you could probably get away with turning the bolt into a heavy high-calibre round like 20mm or something, think about how slow the bullets fly out of titanfall/apex's KRABER sniper rifle

if i can learn of a way to do that id update the mod but right now i know barely anything about actually creating a mod. the most i know how to do is replace sounds

There might be a way to increase projectile speed, I doubt it, but it's probably more likely than being able to switch it to hitscan.

it still fuctions like bolts where they take time to travel im not sure if theres anything to do about that as it replaces the crossbow
