@BraveMaverick Dude, I like TNO but don't try to shit on other mods (Like KX) just because you think it doesn't make the bad people seem bad enough to you. If you need to see a reason why people that are clearly supporting evil ideologies are evil then that sounds more like a you issue than the mod's issue. Plus, you didn't need to make a full ass essay as a response on a dumb Hoi4 mod's comments, it's just schizo posting when there was little to no argument to be found in the first place.

if you don't like reading simulators fine, go enjoy your benevolent dictator path in wholesome Hitler mod version 3.0 but don't start winning when someone puts a modicum of effort into a story because its "too realistic and edgy" because thats what the world is. the world isn't sunshine and rainbows, instead its looking at the news every day to hear russia just conscripted another 50 thousand men who know the only fate they have is dying fighting an imperialist war of aggression while civilians that have no control over the conflict and have no participation whatsoever get bombed because the russian leader can't accept the fact that maybe no one actually likes him and surrounded by yes men or people who don't want to get purged like the rest of his staff or are as delusional that just 50 thousand more casualties is all it takes to make the people love him. I'm not saying every mod has to be like TNO because if that were the case no mod would be finished and any insane schizo path isn't fun at all, it's that TNO makes you feel the consequences of your actions instead of just giving you a stability boost for killing off all people deemed as "communist" when in reality they are anyone who poses a threat to the regime. Instead, of it feeling like a throwaway death you feel for them. there are countries i do not want to play because I know there is no good ending. unlike most other mods in which they have a path with someone who is bad but you never feel the gravitiy of their badness, TNO makes you feel that. In KX you can take a MacArthur dictator path. Still, instead of it feeling like a dictator path where democracy in the US is snuffed out quite possibly forever in return for a guy who wasn't all that great and tries to turn the country into an army to throw more men into the meat grinder all for the sake of "liberating" people, it just feels like all the propaganda commissioned by the government is true. I kinda threw the second point in lazily because I was tired but I do not think that substituting good storytelling in return for being edgy is good. the problem is though that that isn't what TNO is. There is an entire storyline for the UK where two lovers try to resist the collaborators and if/when the collaborators win then one of them dies. (1)

And not to mention devs would rather work on a small warlord country of China than countries like France, Hungary or even Romania, hell even Serbia was alot of potential. But no no, update some irrelevant puppet country from the third world, unbelievable...
