@Can-Tanki Keep your fanfics to yourself. Have you ever seen meet the demoman? This guy is a badass - always sober enough to not blow himself up with his explosives. Like hell he'd pass out drunk on a battlefield.

When it comes to this taunt and peoples concern about playing dead, you would clearly be able to tell thats a living demoman. Even if you couldn't, a demoman doing this in plain sight is liable to being hit by explosive spam and or teammates being nearby, and you'd definitely realize thats a living player if you hadn't by the time his ass gets up. You're gonna kill the guy long before he can benefit off of tricking you by ending the taunt.

This is perfect and ready to ship. Fits demoman like a glove and its a good looping taunt to show the extremes of his drunkard behavior rather than just tipsy movement and burping. Its got a lot of comedy potential and might be fast enough to do for killcams.

Fun, distinct, and in-character. I'd argue it also makes for a MUCH better "relaxing with drink" taunt than the Pooped Deck. Demoman is absolutely the one merc that doesn't need a chair for that!
