whenever something is cut from a video game, it's usually done for a reason. Typically, it's not "the critical stuff we need the most" that gets cut, it's the opposite. precisely how not critical it is would be the reason it's cut. There's a lot to hate valve for but changing what props show up in a level is absolutely not one of them.

If you want so badly to shit on a game company then chose one who deserve it like ubisoft or bugthesda instead of crying over small details in a game made with genuine passion.

@Vogal12 And i dont like gamers that dont understand how old is this game is and not fully understanding why it had to be cut. Game has complex physics engine, it meant to release on Xbox360 and PCs from 2008. Literally game could have been like Crysis if they would have left the stuff in. Plus playability and gameplay is the first reason why alot of details go away too, they could messup with the game AI or else.
No mean or anything, but these details are indeed great, but engine is too old and L4D2 was way too advanced for its time already.

I can definetely help with adding the balconies missing decorations however the ballons & masks would require to be added into the railing model or you making 1 model with only the ballons and them 1 model that has ballons and masks for the railings.

Hey uh, i would like to make a collab mod. I have flags for the Balconies Railings of the French quarter that can be very suitable for the game and i would like to put them in the game using Vscripts, tho i dont know nothing about it. I have the model, i can make MDL out of it but i have no idea how to put them in the game so i wanted kindly ask you, a proffessional in my eyes if you would want to make this mod possible. I also have Mask model from the E3 Trailer and working now on Balloons. We could port all of them and put them in the og campaign in a single mod restoration. What do u think?

@Raiden shasharus? Am i right?....to your question . no. is like a standalone version i wanted to make for the sake of trying vscript . The first and current version of that mod u are talking is still on workshop with the name "t.a.c.m" ; as far as im aware i am the first person on making a script with the little detail of bringing back the trailer sort of look of the parish to the actual retail version.

Mod was initially made by jetsetwilly but since he gave me permission to add anything i want to the mod . i took the freedom to experiment with it
..eventually finding that unused model and there u have it.
