how on earth do you get enough astral threads to use dimensional storm breach?

Astral technologies are not fully applicable to bio-ships

I appear to have encountered an odd bug, where the name, description and costs for the Peer into the Past, Dimensional Storm Breach and Dimensional Knowledge actions are visible, but I'm unable to activate them (although the other actions added by this mod can be activated).

Has anyone seen something similar in their own playthroughs?

Linked patch is gone, but UIOD seems to support scrolling the actions list since 4.0.

This mod does not remove that astral action.

I never saw this in mod description, but it seems that this mod removes the vanilla action to call astral fleet.

Which is honestly a welcome change, because this action is fucking cancer.

UI patch got removed from workshop sadly :(

Minor bug report, I got the text that tells me that Temporal Terraforming gave me mineral veins and according districts, when in fact it gave me Lush, so agriculture districts.

For now it is only for precursors that use Archaeological sites, i.e. the Baol, Zroni, Adakkaria, Inetian, as well as any precursor from Forgotten History, More Precursors and Unavoidable Changes.

Is the extra precursor chain only for Baol and Zroni？

@kroun I feel it's a bit too high, as I usually need to build twenty-something astral nexi to be able to get enough astral thread capacity. Since I don't increase the number of habitable planets it's hard to get enough of them.

Its high price is intentional, as it affects the entire galaxy and not just your own empire.

The Astral Storms action costs 10,000 threads. Is this intentional or did it get missed when you lowered the price of the other actions?

The Astral techs don't seem to work on modded ship classes. I'll need to check with NSC. I hope it works for that mod. Ever since Improved Ship Sections got removed...

If you got one of the cosmic storms precursors then you won't get any notification or event since you don't get one in vanilla. You should have an anomaly that enables you to start the precursor chain.

I activated the second precuror decision, but nothing happened. Do I need to research systems, or is there some kind of event or anything else to start the event chain ?

I added this partway into a save and it shows its one use actions at 0/1

Yes, I need to update the UI changes this mod introduces.

Even with no other mods enabled, this specific mod is causing the game to crash either immediately or after the first monthly update in the even it doesn't immediately crash.

The pictures are not all up to date. The cost of that action has been reduced.
And if you need more storage for astral threads, you can build astral siphon buildings, or explore more rifts.

Did I see an action in the screenshot for 5000 star threads? Where to get them from if the storage limit can't be raised that much, max 3k or so?

I'm glad you like it! They're a ton of work though.

As for anyone having trouble with the UI while using a UI mod, yes, that is because this mod is not compatible with any mods changing the discoveries tab.
Unfortunately there is no workaround I know of, except for a patch mod, and with my very limited experience with UI, I don't want to deal with that.
If anyone makes a patch mod, please do tell me and I'll link it in the description, but I myself most likely won't make one.

THANK YOU wanted people to add new storms the moment i saw the dlc dropped and these new astral storms fit right in.

Yeah, needs a compatibility with UI overhaul, or the ui change based on that one, otherwise nice

DO NOTE that I am using the UI Overhaul mod, so there might be a compatibility issue with that instead of the UI being glitchy by default.

The UI's a little messed up and it says that I've already used the new astral upgrades.

I'm not gonna continue using it currently but I'll check back on it in a week or two and see if some of the issues are rectified. Keep doing good!
