@gutschein , they're not that dificult to avoid though, as you won't get shot as long as you're out of their shooting range. At least they're not custom enemies that suddenly shoot from afar with 100% accuracy like how most custom enemies in L4D2 custom campaigns usually do. For me, the patroling mannequins give more headache than the penguins when playing singleplayer, as some bots will fall there, & then other bots follow soon when trying to revive the incapped bots.

Is there anything you can do against the penguins? This is seriously super annoying. They keep shooting when you're downed so in solo you just lose. Also they kinda shoot everything around them without moving. This mechanic is useless, sorry.

I know it's close to impossible, but will these campaigns get a version akin to Dead Center: Christmas? No cutscenes, no long hallways, no speeches - just the campaign and the theme itself. This and No Mercy: Christmas I reckon would be great to play with if you want just the vibes rather than the lore.

@McDonalds Sprite, if you have some bot mods, you can check them. Bots picking melee are usually related to either cvars or bot mods that modify cvars for melee.

yeh that's not the one. the map i made was a open city based on TWD, it started as a survival map and updated to a campaign story

Since I never played that "campaign" myself, are you sure it's not the survival maps from the user "Palacio"?

the deleted campaign is called The Walking Dead: Survival, it was a survival map that turned into a campaign in 2018 and it's existence is gone. i tried to find any copies of it but there's nothing online

if somebody did find a copy of it, i would be grateful and reward them. that campaign was special to me

@Vogal12 , mods should work. At least I didn't crash when playing this with 30+ script mods. I don't know about texture (HD) mods or skin mods, as I only used survivor skin & weapon skin mods.

@Sp1cyXH0tsauce That, or you cannot be like the Chernobyl map, & make us turn off our mods? W/mods, we need them to help ourselves out in a pinch (And I am talking about super helpful mods, & not fuck around mods).

@chewbaccagrowls , that's the problem of your bot mod. Just turn off bot's ability to pick melee on 1st map at least until you pick that melee. I think it's not difficult, if Left 4 Bots is what you used.

I really loved this map. Even if i must admit that some of the mechanics really fucks you over if you play solo, which is really annoying and frustrating, since the AI doesn't understand the concept of "dodging". And the ending of the map was.. interesting. I really love the implication it is giving, which makes me hope to see more of this in the future, especially the background credits.

Always a good time playing these maps, makes the seasons feel even better.

there's nothing to fix on my part, that bug is caused by the mutation. all my campaigns are always tested multiple times on local server with no mods. i can't do anything about that sadly, sorry

I played on the Hard Eight mutation on Advanced difficulty, no other server mods that would change spawns in any other way were used. The first round I played there was some protection at least during the first cutscene but after dying and reloading the map there was no longer any kind of protection in any of the cutscenes.

For good measure before reporting this bug I went and tested it under the same conditions (play first round, die and try again) and I got incapped during the first cutscene again.

It's most likely server mods doing that. this campaign has a cutscene script that wipes all infected from spawning before and during a cutscene. i tested it multiple times since it's been reported and i have no problems

Pretty cool map, but there seems to be a pretty nasty gamebreaking bug in the final level.

When cutscenes start sometimes specials don't get killed as they spawn and they can walk up to you and kill you, sometimes you don't get immunity and they can kill you during this downtime.

It's a fun play. Maybe not as fun as some of the other maps (Clowns were...something...), but it's still worth a play through to see the work the creator put into the map. Plus, there are some subtle ties in to the other maps by this particular creator that are worth looking for if you're a die-hard, like some of us.

Here is my honest thoughts for this map.

I would say that this map is not that bad as some peeps say in the comments here but I am little disappointed for me. Yes it was pretty fun to play but I was expecting more unique aspect like how you did with the Dark Carnival Ghostbusters one, which is still one of my favorites.

It honestly feels like there's nothing unique or something that stands out from the previous maps you created but again, it's not bad and I still like it. Also I was hoping there is a way in the finale where I can get a good ending but I guess we're the survivors are stuck like Half-Life style I guess.

I say this is a 3/5 for me.
