@KnibbeTheKornKing - that has been fixed now
KnibbeTheKornKing 9. feb. kl. 12:29
Sent the request! I don't know much about modding, but will happily give it a try.
Sebidee  [ophavsmand] 7. feb. kl. 20:43
Yes that can be easily fixed. Unfortunately I am away from my PC for the next 2 weeks so it will be a while. If you want to try it yourself then I can help you just give me a friend request

Got a question, is it possible to get rid of the campaign movement penalty for greenskins? Their normal raiding stance doesn't incur a movement penalty, but this mod adds one for them. Love the mod, thank you!
Sebidee  [ophavsmand] 3. jan. kl. 6:47
it may be that they have a special raiding stance that I haven't included. Is it working for other factions?
WarDude76 3. jan. kl. 6:32
Only seem to have 25% upkeep reduction in hostile territory as Vampire Coast - is this working as intended?
Lions and Men 1. jan. kl. 17:19
Thank you!
Sebidee  [ophavsmand] 1. jan. kl. 3:49
It reduces by 50% when in enemy territory and only 25% in your own territory. Also the garrison upkeep reduction is intentional. I have updated the description to include these
Lions and Men 31. dec. 2024 kl. 18:11
Hi Sebidee, thank you for your work. This looks like a must have mod. I had two questions: 1. Description says 50% upkeep decrease but the tooltip in game states 25%. Which is it? 2. As another user posted below, the decrease seems to apply to a garrisoned army as well as a raiding one. Is this intended? Thank you again.
Sebidee  [ophavsmand] 17. dec. 2024 kl. 12:41
Hi, this should be working for the DLC factions
Sebidee  [ophavsmand] 17. dec. 2024 kl. 3:29
Yes I will!
Monk 16. dec. 2024 kl. 17:57
Sebidee- I consider this mod one of my favorites! Can you please update it to include the new Khorne factions?
Rodek 16. dec. 2024 kl. 14:28
This does not seem to work for Arbaal.
Sebidee  [ophavsmand] 16. dec. 2024 kl. 12:22
Yes
Knight of The Holy Grail 15. dec. 2024 kl. 16:55
Work for Ai too ?
Panzerknacker 23. nov. 2024 kl. 13:20
@Sebidee
Hi, this mod also adds an effect to garrisoned armies, that reduces unit upkeep by 25% and increases the replenishment rate by 10%. Is this intended?
Noodliest 16. nov. 2024 kl. 18:50
Is this currently working? It's not for me. Not sure if it needs update or I have conflicting mods.
Sebidee  [ophavsmand] 3. okt. 2024 kl. 13:47
I already added Taurox back in
Guvenoren 3. okt. 2024 kl. 11:50
@Sebidee
I already managed to do that from my end. "force_to_force_own_enemy_territory"
Also, was it intended to leave taurox out?
Sebidee  [ophavsmand] 3. okt. 2024 kl. 11:33
Yes, you could very easily do that.
Viego2 3. okt. 2024 kl. 10:31
I have a question is it possible to make a mod that makes every units health higher by %30 percent or something similar to makes battles last longer ? maybe something isn't pre applied to each individual unit but like a general health increase to every unit on the map so it is also compatible with unit mods ? just asking :)
Sebidee  [ophavsmand] 2. okt. 2024 kl. 10:15
Yes I think that would make sense, or at least have lower recruitment in own territory.

I'm not sure which effect_scope would do that though.
Guvenoren 2. okt. 2024 kl. 9:29
A somewhat understandable argument. But my suggestion is that the upkeep reduction should only be effective when raiding in foreign or enemy territory, so it's not abusable to have perma raid armies in the campaign. The AI will not have that thought in mind.
Sebidee  [ophavsmand] 1. okt. 2024 kl. 2:27
The main thing is that when you are raiding your army is stationary. It's not fighting a battle and its not sacking a city.

Therefore the upkeep cost reduction is meant to compensate for the fact that your army is not doing something that will earn a lot of loot.

That is the number 1 reason why I never bothered using raiding - you were always sacrificing thousands of gold by not just commiting to the ultra agressive playstyle that the game forces you to take.

So that's why the reduction is so high. It makes raiding viable as an alternative to seeking endless battles.
Ragnarjan 29. sep. 2024 kl. 12:12
yes but norsca have got other factors that keep the difficulty balanced, imagine skaven with -50 upkeep when raiding, you see my point?
Brother John 29. sep. 2024 kl. 11:01
is his for player or Ai?
Guvenoren 29. sep. 2024 kl. 1:40
@Ragnarjan
Tbf norsca is essentially this.
Guvenoren 29. sep. 2024 kl. 1:29
Also you missed Taurox:
wh2_dlc17_bundle_stance_army_raiding_horde_beastmen_unique_taurox
Guvenoren 29. sep. 2024 kl. 1:24
Also, what was left out of the description, you are editing "situation: garrisoned"
"wh_main_bundle_stance_army_garrisoned"

Likely not the scope of your mod.
Guvenoren 29. sep. 2024 kl. 1:23
Also, you are editing a Dilemma payloads:
wh3_dlc23_payload_dilemma_raiding_expedition_first
wh3_dlc23_payload_dilemma_raiding_expedition_fourth
wh3_dlc23_payload_dilemma_raiding_expedition_second
wh3_dlc23_payload_dilemma_raiding_expedition_third

Likely not the scope of your mod
Guvenoren 29. sep. 2024 kl. 1:21
You'd likely have to make a new effect scope
Guvenoren 29. sep. 2024 kl. 1:20
I would suggest a possibility to set the upkeep reduction to be when only in enemy territory. Otherwise self raiding may be too profitable and exploitable.
Guvenoren 29. sep. 2024 kl. 1:14
Interesting interpretation. I could see -50% upkeep for some underwhelming destruction or chaos races. Maybe not Order tho
The Mightiest Pocket Square 28. sep. 2024 kl. 14:33
Nothing too crazy, just something for them to keep up with the reworked stance. Maybe increase the % they get from their raiding, or reducing the tired debuff for certain factions. For Norsca I'd suggest a "raiding frenzy" buff for the first 5 minutes of battle, which temporarily bypasses the fatigue hit and gives them some bonuses before they go back to being tired.

@Ragnarjan I disagree. Remember that they have reduced movement and are tired in battle, making raiding armies easy targets. It's just given a greater reward for the risk raiding creates and would give a player a reason to actually do it outside of the orcs and norsca who have raiding camps, which is essentially encamp stance with extra money.
Ragnarjan 28. sep. 2024 kl. 13:26
mmh i agree,50% is to much, the playthrough would just descend into constant raiding,it needs to be worth our while but not to the extreme of a cheat mod.
ToastyBread419gaming 28. sep. 2024 kl. 12:07
i have a question is it possible to make ai utilize different stances cause my brother and i wish the ai would use ambush more often than not, especially for skaven
Sebidee  [ophavsmand] 28. sep. 2024 kl. 3:53
@The Mightiest Pocket Square - yes you can give different benefits to factions with different kinds of raiding stances. What did you have in mind?
Sebidee  [ophavsmand] 28. sep. 2024 kl. 3:52
No, 25% reduction to too small to really bother.

50% is necessary because when you raid you are usually forgoing the opportunity to attack an enemy army or city and to take loot. the 50% reduction compensates for this.
Eradan_spielt 28. sep. 2024 kl. 2:33
I feel like 50% Upkeep reduction is a bit too much, could you make another version with just 25% reduction?
Ace 28. sep. 2024 kl. 1:06
Now that makes sens you'd think that raiding armies would sustain more by raiding resources thus costing less cost
The Mightiest Pocket Square 27. sep. 2024 kl. 14:54
Is there tuning for races/factions that have unique raiding stances, like the Orcs or Rakarth to keep them in line with this power-up?
InfiniteLove 27. sep. 2024 kl. 7:36
This is actually gold. This fixes Ogre campaign so significantly LOL
Revelation 26. sep. 2024 kl. 0:00
Keep the hits coming! :)
