mod dead? only thing i did was to install this mod on a brand new server without mod, thats mean that this mod is no 100 perfect, something is wrong

it works well on sakhal, hop into dayz editor, remove the ice sheets and fill the lake with water pond, the do the ice from this mod as in the video.

pretty sure its an object like the water in the bunkers on livonia. Frozen lakes/ponds don't appear on terrain maps in iZurvive.

That is the question of the hour. Are the frozen lakes and ponds of Sakhal frozen bodies of water, or simply a change in ground texture?

this would work great with namalsk. unfortunately it might mess up the game balance due to the high tier loot that is far away from the mainland.

Published. It is a DRAFT file. Not yet really tested. Some lakes are not (yet) correct as I did not see ice - but on many I did. Still I used 5min to test. Anyway: code is there and I will keep upgrading it. Added 178 locations - will publish update on same server darkmoon discord of DarkMoon server.

Almost there. Had to manually place 186 objects to measure height of 186 lakes/pounds I have found. ChatGTP just received data. I am worried as it...replied it need time. Hmmm. Perhaps I will skip the ones with dam, so apologise but still work in progress.

Hello, I have used ChatGtp to generate code for all lakes on Chernarus. Work to be done: (a) it cannot help with height: so you need to do it your self (b) it cannot help with specific shaped lakes but code has "space" for that. Visit darkmoon discord channel to upload the file. I will start testing it now and once it is done I will upload it. Cannot wait to activate it on DarkMoon. Zen you are a true genius.

@amylaurenrose07 sorry about that, should be fixed now - original version failed to create the folder required for the default file but it does now.

@VLAD sure thing man, the model is mine and is open-source and free to use but make sure to check the license on the texture image in the Credits section (or change it to your own) if you republish it. My stuff is 100% free so you're welcome to use it however you like :)

As for Chernarus config, if I find time I'll make one but as I don't run a cherno map currently it's really not a priority for me - if someone is willing to do it themselves and share it in the Discussions tab I'm sure the community will appreciate it massively.

Would be cool if there could be a config where you can them persistent so those holes do not reset on restart, along with config option for how long till they "freeze" back up.

I cannot seem to get this to work either in its original form on steam or repacked. I use GTX host which auto installs and copies keys to key folder. But the folder does not appear in the server profiles and I get a crash message
