I know, but currently it doesn't have features i need for it to function like a functional "ruined" iterator state and being able to make a non "ruined" iterator not move around.
As well as more optional but still important stuff like being able to project images, having dialogue for critters and having a reputation system.

theres now a mod called iterator creator which aims to let people make custom iterators without much coding knowledge (its done using .txt files)
I have looked into it a bit and it seems pretty good... its documentation is in english and they have an example iterator txt file on their workshop page so i hope that would make the process easier

The documentation for that is in a language i dont know and also aparently incomplete.

The mod they're talking about is EmgTx, it was used for Hunter Expansion.

Which mod?

There's a new mod that supposedly makes making iterators easier, are you gonna give UI a second chance?

I have a nearly complete concept for an expansion with 10 regions and dozens of creatures even though I suck at using the level editor, have 0 knowledge of C#, and don't even know how to implement sprites, you can't stop me!1111!11!!!!11!!!

you can't stop me from making an iterator! I know 0 C# and I'll do it anyway! >:DDD

2 rooms per subregion is crazy

Uuuuh, unless you got a 5 region linear expansion like Sunlit Path laying around somewhere, it seems pretty damn necessary.
Also I'm not gonna change my mods just cuz you specifically have an irrational aversion to 4B.

kinda lame forcing people to use the hub mod, i already expressed this before with side world but i somewhat understand why you did that with that but this? come on man.
riley_ 22. sep. 2024 kl. 20:43
what regions does this connect to?

ooo

The region is fully traversable without cheats, and yes, the iterator not being there as Riv/Saint is an IteratorKit bug.
traso 21. sep. 2024 kl. 9:26
oh and I forgot
I also got there as rivulet and saint and the iterator wasn't there, maybe it's iterator kit malfunctioning?
traso 21. sep. 2024 kl. 9:25
I tried the region as survivor and couldn't get to the chamber without cheats because there are not enough air sources, the main room is also laggy for me. While it could get a bunch of improvements I think it's a cool concept, the dialoge was also nice hehe

fun spoiler:
I got there "normally" from the gate exploring the rooms and talking to the iterator, then I opened warp menu and was confused with why there was another iterator room, maybe it was a different world state or leftover from development? nope, what you find there is really funny, I laughed a lot you got me there mod creator. Well done

reposted, spoilers for... essentially the whole region.

wait, so if UI is filled with water, what would her exterior look like? how does her structure hold the weight of that much extra water? This is a very neat concept, (even if I can't really navigate it due to lack of air sources) but it also brings up some questions that got me curious.
