I haven't had the issue that you are describing, but also I don't commonly have it set to assign me a class. Have you changed the settings for the mutator at all?

Also, the settings for the mutator are quite delicate unfortunately. So, changing something in particular causes that issue that you're describing to happen. I haven't quite pinpointed the exact reason there, but reverting to original settings should fix it.
One possible reason is something with enabling / disabling classes. If you want a class disabled, Enable the Bot Limit for it and set it to ZERO.
