One of my favorite mods. Does not need an update, works as is, though it would be cool to see it applied like that one other mod i cant remember the name of so it would work on mod units too

I still think that units like skeletons and reanimated dead should have additional vulnerability to fire damage.... So "Despises Fire" shouldn't have been removed completely.

I liked the previous version of the mod a lot. I changed it a bit, setting 10/20% instead of 15/20% and tried to remove “Despises Fire” to vampires, wargulfs and other units that already have a debuff on fire damage, so that the total does not get -40%

Oops, just noticed that lava spider riders and lava arachnarok spiders are not exempt. Don't know how I missed them before. Also, should saytang the watcher be exempt since terracotta sentinels are now?

You are correct, they already suffer a penalty due to regeneration which is initially why I exempted them. I will change it though, thank you for the feedback!

Hm, would it be possible to add the weakness like a debuff at the beginning of a battle? This way it would apply even to units added by mods. Great mod though, Fire dmg is truly useless in vanilla. :)

Great idea, I will absolutely use this going forward.
Although in order to make it more widely compatible, it might make sense to have a version that applies the penalty to all units as default, and then have fire resistance buffs specifically for those units less vulnerable. That way, it will also apply to modded units. But you can't please everyone with either approach.

Yes, but the units added by SFO are exempt by default. A compatibility mod will need to be made to effect those custom units.

Some of those were deliberate but most were not. I will tackle this post haste. Sorry for so many uploads, just noticing some of these myself as i'm playing with the mod, should have done more testing before uploading but I thought "surely I got them all"... I thought I was more diligent :steamsad:

Great mod! I noticed quite a few units not exempt that were supposed to be and made a list but noticed you updated the mod several times since I downloaded and got most of them. In case you haven't noticed them yet, you still haven't exempted cairn wraiths, hexwraiths ror, banshees, arcane phoenix + ror, great moon bird, stag knights ror, deck gunners ror, the green knight and ethereal dwarf heroes. Also, mournguls (all of them) are exempt for some reason. Hope this helps!

@Zaylidin You're welcome, great work. One thing I noticed was that Irondrakes and irondrakes ror still had the hates fire passive despite both having 40% fire resistance. I dont play dwarfs that much so it doesn't make a large difference for me but just thought I should let you know :)

Finally a flame rework. Kept wondering when someone on the workshop would do something that would make flaming attacks more useful because as it stands flaming attacks is usually a nerf considering how few units have weakness to fire, basically only units with regen.
