yes you can hover over their racial perks to see strengths and weaknesses. dwarves have a dependency on alcohol

do any other races have modifiers like this? ie eat raw meat or terrible temp tolerance or a general ineptitude for farming? like do orcs have bad hunting skill or dwarves with bad heat tolerance?
