It's a classic old-school ship alright! Practically vintage space-motoring! I couldn't get the mod working offline saved to a local resource, but it works when I am online with no problem.

Thanks Sausage! Crazy that this ship is nearing a decade old, designed in when I was in high school, I know work as a mechanical engineer in the aero-space industry

Beautiful ship. Well done, and thanks - YOINK!!

@descrash05 Hey sorry for the late reply. So my recommendations are definitely to beef up the armor a lot, probably get rid of the hangars entirely. The entire ship is built out of light armor (besides the reactor bay and bridge iirc), that definitely needs to change if the ship were to directly engage other ships. Also more point defense/turrets would need to be added.

i wonder if i would be able to refit this with vls a removing the front rocket launchers
descrash05 24 Feb, 2020 @ 6:55pm
if i was to refit this cruiser with different weapons and make it like a reguler cruiser or standard cruiser what would be your recomendations

@Bi0_HazardXIII I'll look into it soon but I'm afraid that this blueprint is most likely lost if the one of the workshop is corrupt :(

Hey man, I love your stuff. Mind helping me out with a few of my designs?
Yatem  [author] 30 Oct, 2014 @ 7:31pm
@Hexenhammer, Haha, even when I don't build homeword my designes are influenced by it. Also check out my other shared files, If you like Homeworld I think you might enjoy some of them.

@IKrunch, Yup basicaly, but I'd like to think it takes some effort to take a rectangle and church it up into something suitably sci-fi.

@B.Dewitt, Several of my friends have told me the same thing! Hope you enjoyed the ship.

@Field Marshall Potter, I'm glad you like it!

@mysterious non-drug man, Thanks, I do like my neon colors.

@Cpt. Fluff_Bucket, Thanks!

@scorpnoire, Thanks man, I am quite a fan of the stern but I think it could use some more greeble. But hey thats my opinion, I'm glad you otherwise liked the ship.

Its a great ship and the second I saw it thought of homeworld, then I saw your background and couldn't help but grin. The middle detailing is a great touch.

Love the design! It's got a subtle 'Legend of the Galactic Heroes' vibe to it, long design, forward facing weapon batteries, green... Looks great, did I mention that?
Moshii.Lemons 28 Oct, 2014 @ 4:22pm
So simple, yet it looks so nice and smoothe. Good job on the color coding too, you sir are the most complex simple builder ever. :D much love.
krn. 28 Oct, 2014 @ 12:40pm
Very simple, but very nice Good Job!

I can't warm up with the saw like stern of your ship, but to be frank I really like the rest of the design. :) Very nice CI according to your other workshop item. Thumbs up!

Thanks for all of your comments!

@High Ground, I honestly do not like how this ship's interior turned out, I made a cool hull and just kind of filled it in leaving lots of unused space and no functionality to the layout. I recently finished a new ship, a frigate, that I built from the interior out to maxamise functionality and survivability in battle, Ill publish it pretty soon so keep your eye out.

@Stinger Thanks, I put a lot of effort into planning by ships on paper before churning them out in SE. It mean alot to me when people take the time to write a thought-out comment.

@Yaddah, Thanks man!

@Tredlator, Thanks alot, I'm glad you like it. I'll be posting more ships in the same style so keep your eye out ;)
Stinger 27 Oct, 2014 @ 10:57am
Your builds have a sort of special.. elegance to them. They look so practical, so useable by even modern militaries, but, at the same time, pretty. It's a style I strive to recreate. Good job, especially how you do it unmodded.
Yaddah 27 Oct, 2014 @ 7:21am
It looks somehow... refreshing. :D
Sausage 26 Oct, 2014 @ 8:38pm
Pure and total SE beauty... very, very nice build. :)
High Ground 25 Oct, 2014 @ 11:58pm
I beautifil looking ship. But remember the goal of building a warship is to pack as much as possible, into as small a space as possible, while providing as much protection as possible.
