sadly generate tons of lag and it does not even appear visible, the tab switching make the health tab dissapear

Ive waiting for a mod like this for long time, would be great if you could adjust the settings, and a configurable easy way to add yourself a list of many % of nutrition have every food on the game, so we can "patch it" on the fly

很不错的想法,但是目前MOD还是太过单一,并不支持其它食品类MOD,希望后续可以尽快适配!

I would also be interested in this mod if it had more support for other mods.

For food I use many mods such as:
Vanilla plants expanded
Vanilla cooking expanded
Vanilla brewing expanded
Medieval overhaul
Milkshakes digital deluxe

All this mod need left are patch from all popular (5 stars) plants mod etc. also few meal mod like dumping etc. Then this can replace my Vintage Story for me

It'd be best if you allowed users to define what ingredients provide what nutrients through some kinda config. At least, as a first option, while you work in the background to provide defaults for various mod patches.

At the moment, this mod only seems to work with vanilla crops.

The categories are as follows:
Protein: meat, milk, eggs
Vitamins: berries, mushrooms
Dietary fiber: potatoes
Carbohydrates: rice, corn

As others have commented, food has different nutrients (for example, meat can provide vitamin D).

Also, you can't get essential nutrients from the emergency rations you have at the start of the game.

This is probably because the flags for ingesting nutrients vary depending on the ingredients.

I don't have any complaints about this design itself, but I think many people who are left behind will rely on emergency rations for the first few days, so I think it's too harsh to not be able to get any nutrients at all. I'd be happy if they changed the way foods with unknown ingredients are handled.

This mod, which increases the value of food variety, is very revolutionary and interesting!

If I could make a request to the author, I would be very grateful if it added compatibility with mods that expand the variety of vegetables, such as VGP.

At the moment I don't know how to get pawns to get enough dietary fiber, so many of them suffer from indigestion.

I would also be happy if some kind of mitigation measure was added for species that can only eat raw meat.

I'm sure updating will be a lot of work, but I'm eagerly waiting for it.

I am thinking of introducing the current save data once I reach the ending.
I am just wondering if “Variety Matters Redux” is supported.
I am also wondering if other mods support ingredients.
Minor “【ZP】Rice cultivating civilization【1.4】 ” and so on.

いまのセーブデータをエンディングを迎えたら導入したりと思っています。
ただ“Variety Matters Redux”に対応しているのか気になります。
また他のMODの食材の対応も気になります。

From a gameplay standpoint, it makes sense, given all the meat looks like just muscle and fat, and that you may just either have to create a new types of meat named organ meat then have to worry about balancing it or add the ability to harvest and eat organs which will cause inventory bloat.
And then there are the plants and other foods you might just have to balance by making them have low values of other nutrients
Just so you don't absolutely break some ideologies and isn't too punishing when playing certain ways, and maintain some realism.
I know this mod is still under development but thats my insights.

Beyond the meat side of things, in general foods don't just have singular nutrients, but many others(discounting things like anti nutrients) although in lesser quantities.

As I currently know, but correct me if I'm but all vitamins needed can be taken from meat, in their entirety, provided you are consuming everything, including the not so tasty bits that we ignore.
Carbohydrates are an efficient energy source in terms of how our body breaks it down, they however are not required nor needed as our bodies are fully capable of turning proteins into energy, although less efficient.

as someone who knows some basic stuff about nutrition, and someone who has gone through everal diets and now eats primarily meat, dietary fibre isn't needed but is nice, it serves primarily as a kind of weak digestive laxative. I don't understand why you're adding this unless you desire it to be compatible with something like dub's hygiene.

Imo should be a buff/debuff system

like if vitamin bar is full you get +5% imunity gain speed, protein +1 melee damage, etc and if you got all bars full the buffs get 1,5 multiplier or a +5% workspeed.
